About Ping
Ping was founded by Karsten Solheim, whose first putter made a "ping" sound, and is still family-owned in Phoenix, Arizona. Its Anser putter (1966) is the most copied putter shape in golf, it popularised the perimeter-weighted cavity-back iron, and its colour-code lie-angle system is used to fit irons to your height. The G series is its forgiving line; the i series and Blueprint are for better players.
