There are 12,177 used senior golf clubs listed for sale on eBay UK at the moment (Buy It Now, in used condition). Half of them are priced between £101 and £295, with the middle price at £180 and the cheapest at £25, including postage. 397 are left-handed (3%). The most common shaft flex is regular, then stiff and extra stiff.

The most listed models right now are Mizuno CLK / Fli-Hi Hybrid (typically £45), Wilson Dynapower Driver (typically £188), Titleist T100 Irons (typically £410, £61 a club), Srixon ZXi / ZX Hybrid (typically £160), Callaway Elyte Driver (typically £257) and Ping G425 Hybrid (typically £140). Of those, the Mizuno CLK / Fli-Hi Hybrid is the cheapest way in and the Titleist T100 Irons holds its value best.

By brand, TaylorMade has 2105 (middle price £187), Ping has 1867 (middle price £202), Callaway has 1616 (middle price £183), Titleist has 1540 (middle price £250) and Mizuno has 1040 (middle price £130).

By price: 3011 under £100, 5195 £100 to £250, 2792 £250 to £500 and 1179 over £500. The biggest saving today is a Ping G430 Irons at £500, £307 under its typical price.

Senior flex and lighter clubs

Senior (A) flex shafts are lighter and softer, which helps a slower swing launch the ball higher. Hybrids instead of long irons, a higher-lofted driver (12°) and graphite-shafted irons make the game easier. Senior shafts are common on eBay because many golfers move down a flex as they get older.
