Before you buy a used Cobra Trusty Rusty wedge
- Look closely at the grooves. Wedges wear fastest. Sharp grooves give spin: a heavily used wedge can lose a lot of it. Ask for a close-up of the face.
- Check loft and bounce. Both are stamped on the head (for example 56.10 means 56° loft, 10° bounce). Match them to the gaps in your set.
- Rust can be normal. Raw-finish wedges are made to rust. It doesn't affect performance.
- Pay through eBay. eBay's Money Back Guarantee only covers you if you pay through eBay. Never pay by bank transfer outside it, however good the deal.
