There are 1,654 used players' irons listed for sale on eBay UK at the moment (Buy It Now, in used condition). Half of them are priced between £330 and £621, with the middle price at £466 and the cheapest at £69, including postage. 32 are left-handed (2%). The most common shaft flex is stiff, then regular and extra stiff.

The most listed models right now are Titleist T100 Irons (typically £410, £61 a club), Srixon ZXi Irons (typically £741, £119 a club), TaylorMade P790 Irons (typically £598, £96 a club), Wilson Staff Model Irons (typically £402, £60 a club), Titleist T200 Irons (typically £509, £90 a club) and Mizuno Pro 241 / 243 / 245 Irons (typically £646, £100 a club). Of those, the Wilson Staff Model Irons is the cheapest way in and the Srixon ZXi Irons holds its value best.

By brand, Titleist has 395 (middle price £459), Srixon has 295 (middle price £661), TaylorMade has 257 (middle price £483), Wilson has 174 (middle price £393) and Callaway has 163 (middle price £340).

By price: 12 under £100, 206 £100 to £250, 738 £250 to £500 and 698 over £500. The biggest saving today is a TaylorMade P790 Irons at £418, £242 under its typical price.
