Before you buy a used Wilson Infinite putter

  • Check the length. Most putters are 33-35 inches. A putter can be cut down but not easily lengthened, so check before you buy.
  • Check the face and sole. Dings on the face matter more than marks on the sole. Milled faces show wear more than inserts.
  • Watch for fakes. Scotty Camerons and Odysseys are the most copied putters. Be wary of new ones at a fraction of the usual price, especially from overseas.
  • Pay through eBay. eBay's Money Back Guarantee only covers you if you pay through eBay. Never pay by bank transfer outside it, however good the deal.
