Before you buy a used Wilson Ultra / ProStaff golf set

List every club. A full set should have a driver, a wood or hybrid, irons, a wedge and a putter (up to 14 clubs). Count what's actually in the photos.
Check the flex. Most adult sets are regular flex. Ladies sets have L-flex shafts and shorter lengths.
Is the bag included? A decent stand or cart bag is worth £30-£80 on its own.
Pay through eBay. eBay's Money Back Guarantee only covers you if you pay through eBay. Never pay by bank transfer outside it, however good the deal.

Is it safe to buy a used Wilson Ultra / ProStaff golf set on eBay?

Usually, if you pay through eBay (the Money Back Guarantee covers you if it arrives not as described) and buy from a seller with plenty of good feedback. Fake golf sets do turn up, mostly listed new, cheap and from overseas. We flag low-feedback sellers and anything 40%+ under the typical price.
